Aba Shanti-I is a legendary sound system operator and dub producer from London. Aba and his sound system have been playing worldwide for over 30 years. He has been a resident sound system at Notting Hill Carnival since 1993 and was voted the No. 1 DJ in the World by DJ Magazine in the same year. Along with Jah Shaka and Iration Steppas his is considered one of the most influential figures in the UK dub scene. His skill, good vibes and earthrocking dubs are unmatched anywhere in the world. His last appearance in Edinburgh was in 2016 at Wee Dub Festival. This is a rare chance to catch this legendary figure in an intimate setting.
