Romare, who's debut album Projections (2015) fast became an electronic classic, is joining us at La Belle Angele on the 3rd November. Prepare for a funky, disco-influenced DJ set that will definitely get you dancing. Signed to Ninja Tune, Romare released his second EP Love Songs Pt. 2 last year, exposing a subtler, nuanced side to his production. We're more than excited for this one, as belters like 'Rainbows' and 'Work Song' have been propped by the likes of Gilles Peterson and have been gracing our stereos
with their unusual and original sound since their release.
As we're sure you're all aware, tragically Studio 24 has been the latest Edinburgh venue casualty in the never-ending battle between club owners and property developers, money-grabbers and complaining neighbours. The loss of such an iconic and important space in the city hit us hard.
But we're also more than excited to set-up our new home in the Cowgate's historic La Belle Angele!
