The Shapeshifters - With musical trends always changing and evolving arounds us, it’s a testament to the real quality of The Shapeshifters to have sustained a successful career in house music for over 16 years now. After already lighting up dance floors with a recut package of their own anthem ‘Lola’s Theme’ and with Max now absent from Production & DJ duties, Simon steps out on his own & releases on Glitterbox Recordings with records such as the brilliant ‘When Love Breaks Down’ & the dance floor affirming ‘Try My Love’ in recent times, both timeless tracks which solidifies their place as out-and-out legends of the scene.
Back To Back Social - We use DJing as a vehicle for positive change, addressing the complex issue of mental health that surrounds homelessness. This comes in the form of dj tuition workshops, dj performances and events. Djing is an engagement vehicle, to draw interest from our users who have traditionally been disengaged in education and employment. Our workshops provide a gateway to further support, whilst delivering transferable skills, boosting confidence, combating loneliness and teaching users how to use creativity and music for wellness. Supporting our users back on their feet, by building mental health resilience to support the road to accommodation and sustained tenancy as well as employment and volunteer opportunities. Turning the invisible people of today into the turntablists and selectors of tomorrow.
