*CANCELLED* Let’s Go Back to the 80’s Discotheque *CANCELLED* Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been cancelled. Boxing Day Bash with Let's Go Back to the 80's. We transform La Belle Angele into the Discotheques of the early 1980's. This is the sound of clubs in the 80's, NOT A CHEESY RETRO NIGHT. With 70's Disco a fading memory the young club kids switched to different beat. The new sound of the 80's Discotheques was a pulsating electronic beat that started with DONNA SUMMERS 'I FEEL LOVE'. U.K Bands like NEW ORDER, DEPECHE MODE, OMD and THE HUMAN LEAGUE joined the sounds coming out of New York & Italy. The sound of Hi Energy, New Romantic and Electro Pop ruled the charts and the dance-floors. What made the sound so different was the drum machines and synths, the heavy bass sound worked on the dance floor with crossover mainstream club tracks from the likes of PRINCE & MADONNA.
