Event Details

Our legendary 90s Rave is back!

Having launched the party series during our 2nd birthday celebrations in May 2014, we’ve gone on to fill many a club and warehouse over the years. These parties have been headlined by 90s legends including DJ Dribbler (Pure), Michael Kilkie (STREETrave), Brainstorm (Pure), and the man credited with bringing house and techno north of the border in the mid-to-late 80s, Sir Yogi Haughton!   Along the way we’ve also welcomed many a 90s pioneer/icon to our weekly shindig including 808 State, Mr C, Smokin’ Jo, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Nicky Holloway, Graeme Park, Nancy Noise, Jon Dasilva, Paul 'Trouble' Anderson, K-Klass, Evil Eddie Richards, Danny Rampling, Terry Farley, and Pete Heller to name just a few.

- 90s/Rave decor installation - Visuals / lasers - Breakdancers / dancers - Acid smiley face badges, air horns, ice pops etc (all the extra touches you've grown to love from us over the years)

Headlining our first 90s Rave in 30 months are acid house band, the Acid Ultras!!! The Glasgow-based trio will be fresh from supporting Paranoid London at Room 2 and a live performance at Playground Festival. We're buzzing to welcome the live outfit to Edinburgh for the very first time.

Of course we couldn't throw our first 90s Rave in 2.5 years without the man who DJ Mag described as ‘the John Peel of Dance Music', Yogi Haughton.

The original Sub Club resident and 'probably Scotland’s most important DJ' (Edinburgh Evening News) will play one of his legendary all vinyl sets. Expect his signature soundtrack of acid house, rave, house, hip house, breakbeat, and techno. You need to see one of the Godfathers of Scotland's scene turntable skills in person to believe them!
