Following up our fantastic SOLD OUT launch dance at Summerhall, Edinburgh Dub Club #2 swaps out the roots reggae for the digi dancehall styles as Scotland’s soundsystem champions and world-renowned production crew MUNGO’S HI-FI return to Edinburgh with their FULL SOUNDSYSTEM after a full year. They need no introduction – they continue to release smash tune after smash tune and grow their fan base in every continent with their unique soundsystem music.
On the mic Bristols king of the rave GARDNA is back in the city for the first time in many years to show us why he’s a regular on the biggest festival stages now, and is joined by newcomer AZIZA JAYE who totally smashed when she performed with Mungo’s at Kelburn this summer. She has also been traversing Europe recently as vocalist for Nubiyan Twist – a versatile and powerful presence.
In support we welcome Ugandan selector DJ RAWZI who is curating a special African dancehall set for us, alongside EDC resident and provider of the sweet artwork, it’s NEM!
