Dog Tired –

Formed in 2004 from an unhealthy obsession for riffs, Dog Tired have been ripping up the UK and mainland Europe with their unique brand of timeless heavy metal and have slayed on bills at Bloodstock, Manor Fest, Death Awaits fest, Red Crust Festival, Hordes of Belial and Bevvy Scotland to name a few. Now with their 5th album titled ‘The Red Verse’ coming out doubled with their ever energetic live show, they have decided to launch in Edinburgh’s no. 1 venue for metal in La Belle Angele. Expect nothing less than absolute unadulterated carnage.
Luke DogTired expressed ‘This has been 4 years in the making and we are unbelievably chuffed with how this album has turned out. This is our most visceral, brutal and dynamic record to date and we believe it will stand the test of time. Come join us to celebrate the only way we know how. By drinking copious amounts and fist banging the air to riffs. There will be much rejoicing. See you at the front!’
To top it off Dog Tired will be hosting a ‘listening party’ of the new album at Legends after the show which ticket holders will gain free entry to. Do not miss the metal party event of the year!

Fatherson
Edinburgh
Sep 8th
Glasgow-based three-piece Fatherson are back, but not as you know them. ‘End Of The World’, the first new music from the band in three years, is a dreamy, synths-drenched beauty shot through with mischief. ‘End Of The World’ is about going through tough times and coming out the other side. Suddenly you realise that you’re actually fine. So what if someone doesn’t love you anymore? Nevermind that life isn’t as it used to be. It’s definitely a bit tongue-in-cheek. If the world really was ending, you’d want to forget all the shit that’s been thrown at you and go out and have fun.” Forming in Kilmarnock, Scotland, in early 2010, Fatherson immediately captured hearts with their raw, honest alt-rock sound. Debut album I Am an Island and 2016 follow-up Open Book were masterclasses in full-throttle rock songwriting, and garnered support from (and tours alongside) their north-of-the-border brethren in Biffy Clyro, Frightened Rabbit, Idlewild and Twin Atlantic, as well as further runs alongside the likes of Kings Of Leon, Augustines, Enter Shikari and more..
THE UNDERTONES
PLUS BILLY LIAR
OCT 9th
The Undertones emerged from Derry, Northern Ireland in 1974, the result of five friends learning how to play basic rock and roll. Even by the standards of that decade, Derry was not the rock and roll capital of anywhere and with no live bands worth watching, they learned their trade by listening to mail order records, reading one of the few copies of NME that made it to Derry but most of all from listening to John Peel’s show on BBC Radio One. Practicing in their bedrooms eventually led to the band recording ‘Teenage Kicks’ in 1978 on Terri Hooley’s Good Vibrations label in Belfast. A copy was sent to the legendary DJ John Peel and he liked the track so much he played it twice in a row on his radio show! Eventually signing to Sire Records, ‘Teenage Kicks’ was re-released, resulting in the band’s first appearance on Top of the Pops. Over the next five years, John O’Neill, his younger brother Damian, Feargal Sharkey, Billy Doherty and Michael Bradley crafted numerous punkpop gems and would go on to release 13 singles and 4 studio LP’s, before disbanding in May 1983. The Undertones re-formed in 1999 with singer Paul McLoone, subsequently recorded 2 new LP’s and have been touring regularly ever since. They played Glastonbury Festival in June 2005, recently marked their 40th anniversary, and have just completed a 46 date, 2019 world tour.
